I am not just happy. I am a very happy man. This year is one of the best for me because one of my best dreams I have been living for years has come true. My sons, Sunny and Bobby and me, came together for the first time in `Apne`. This year and the people who have always showered me and my sons with all their love proved that we were their own Apne and gave us a grand reception. The success of the film has been a big shot in the arm for all of us. And I am thankful to writer Neeraj Pathak for coming up with a subject which we could do justice to. I am also thankful to director Anil Sharma who has directed us in `Apne`. This film brought me closer to my sons and we loved every moment of working together. What more can a father ask for than the pleasure of sharing the lime light with his sons? Isse zyaada khushi aur kya ho sakti hai? Sab kuch mil gaya ek hi film se. And now the three of you are coming together again? We were flooded with offers after the success of `Apne`, but the subjects were not up to the mark. But we have not given up. We are coming tougher in a film d `Masters`which we are producing under our own banner, Vijayta Films. This film too has been written by Neeraj Pathak and will be directed by Anil who have now become part of my own family. We have approved the idea. The script is being worked on and the fim will go on the floor early next year. I am very excited, naturally, about doing one more film with my own Apne Jigar Ke Tudke. You as an actor had your own tow releases this year, `Apne`and `Johnny Gaddar`. Does it mean that we will have more of Dharmendra, the actor? It all depends on the subjects I am offered. I have to keep in mind my age, my standing and my dignity in the industry for so many years. If I find he subjects good and I have the time to do the films, I will certainly do them. After all, I came here to become an actor and I am whatever I am only because of my being an actor. I will continue to act as long as I am wanted by film-makers. Some of the film-makers still want me to play garam dharma. Do you thing that I am the garam dharma. Apni umar ka bhi khayal rakhna chaahiye nahin to achcha nahin lagega. Main Dev Anand to nahin hoon. What do you think about Vijayta Films going the corporate way? We have to be in the race. We are not going to give up just because of the corporate. We have planned our own corporate according to our own rules. I, Sunny and Bobby will take all the decisions for Vijayta Films jointly. We have planned four films and hope to succeed in our plan. We have already started work in all earnest and hope to succeed with God on our side, of course. What about your role as the MP from Bikaner? I am trying my best to do all that I can because of the tremendous love and people have shown me and the trust they have in me. Politics is a difficult game buy I am trying to get used to it. You are the son of the soil, what are you doing about farmers committing suicide because of the lack of seeds and fertilizers and being in debt all the time? That is very burning problem that has been nagging me all the time. I understand their pain and misery because I have been a farmer myself. Lekin main akela kya kar sakta hoon. It is for everyone to join hands and come to their rescue because if the farmers die, iss desh ka kya hoga? And finally, what is the result of your working your heart out for more than fifty years? Nothing but the overflowing blessings of God and the love and appreciation of all my apne, my people of Bharat. Unhone hamen apna baaya hai. Ab hamen bhi unke liye kuch karna chaahiye. Yehi ek ummed hai. Kaash yeh umeed bhi poori ho jaaye issi zindagi mein.
